Alison has a long history of service to the Town, having previously served for many years on the Zoning Commission before joining the Board of Adjustment, where she has served over the past several years.
Following her appointment by the Mayor of the Town of Highland Park, Alison was sworn in as Chair of the Board of Adjustment on June 10, 2026. The appointment reflects her dedication to public service, thoughtful leadership, and extensive experience navigating land use, zoning, and development-related matters.
The Board of Adjustment plays an important role in the administration of local zoning regulations, considering requests for variances and other matters that impact property owners and the community.
