Ryan S. Foster
I focus my practice on representing lenders in finance transactions involving commercial real estate, mortgage lending, and asset-based facilities. I utilizes my many years of experience to provide my clients with a creative, collaborative and business-minded approach to transactions and the various issues that arise in the structuring, negotiating and closing of such transactions.
Mr. Foster obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance in 2002 from Texas A&M University, and a Juris Doctorate degree from Texas Tech University School of Law in 2005. In 2005, Mr. Foster was admitted to the State Bar of Texas and has practiced in the DFW Area since that time.
Mr. Foster focuses his practice on representing banks and financial institutions in all facets of commercial lending transactions, and regularly advises his clients on the structure, documentation, negotiation and closing of such transactions. In addition, Mr. Foster also works with several of his clients to implement the firm’s LaserPro® Plus loan documentation program through the firm’s affiliate HAL-Docs, to provide those clients with a custom-tailored loan transaction and processing service.
Mr. Foster spends his free time with his wife and three daughters attending numerous sports and other activities that his daughters find their interests in at the time.
Mr. Foster represents banks and other financial institutions in all phases of documentation and negotiation of commercial credit facilities (including revolving lines of credit, real estate acquisition and refinance loans, financing for construction and development projects, guidance lines, homebuilder lines of credit, equipment financing, and mortgage warehouse lines) in all collateral types.
Mr. Foster prepares and negotiates loan documents and performing due diligence review of title and survey matters, as well as UCC searches, entity formation documents, landlord and tenant leases, and related construction and/or development contracts.
Mr. Foster represents banks and financial institutions in all phases of documentation and negotiation of restructuring, modification and workouts of non-performing credit facilities.
Mr. Foster represents banks and financial institutions in all phases of the commercial foreclosure process.
Mr. Foster works with numerous banks to implement the firms LaserPro® Plus loan documentation program through the firm’s affiliate HAL-Docs, to provide an enhanced due diligence and loan document customization for that portion of the bank’s commercial loan portfolio for which, because of the loan size or complexity, the bank desires attorney review, heightened due diligence and document customization without having to outsource the loan to the Firm or other outside counsel.
