Mr. Hernandez received his law degree from Southern Methodist University’s Dedman School of Law. During his time at SMU, he served as Associate Editor at The International Lawyer, a law journal of international renown. In addition, Mr. Hernandez externed for the Honorable Kimberly C. Priest Johnson, U.S. Magistrate Judge for the Eastern District of Texas.
Mr. Hernandez is professionally fluent in Spanish. His interests include traveling and experiencing new cultures, history, politics, and spending time with his family.
Mr. Hernandez assists businesses in industries with a variety of commercial disputes, such as breaches of contract, fraud, and other business matters. Mr. Hernandez further assists general contractors, owners, and developers with construction-related matters, such as contract drafting and review, lien and bond resolution, contract and payment disputes, and collection of unpaid sums. Mr. Hernandez’s practice also focuses on assisting multifamily owners, developers, and managers in a variety of business and civil matters, such as contractual and/or insurance disputes, code enforcement, premises liability, subpoenas, evictions, and fair housing matters.
Throughout his practice, Mr. Hernandez has successfully represented clients in both state and federal court via tactful negotiation, motion practice, and when necessary, vigorous litigation.
