A New Orleans native, Mr. Garner earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in English from Morehouse College and his Juris Doctor graduating Phi Beta Kappa from Thurgood Marshall School of Law. Mr. Garner is particularly effective at breaking down complex legal questions and communicating the path forward in precise, accessible terms. Mr. Garner is a commercial litigator and primarily focuses his practice on the representation of multi-family owners, developers, and managers. His representation consists of assisting and supporting clients in landlord-tenant matters, including evictions, small claims, and code enforcement. Mr. Garner also has prior experience in eviction cases, complex contested divorces, immigration, and child custody and child protective services matters.
