Practice Areas
Mr. Holmes received his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science in 2017 from Texas Christian University. Mr. Holmes then earned his J.D. from the University of Houston Law Center in 2020. In law school, Mr. Holmes served as chief compliance editor for the Houston Business and Tax Law Journal, was a member of the Law Center’s landlord/tenant consumer law clinic, and a member of the Environmental & Energy Law Society.
Prior to joining Higier Allen Lautin, P.C., Mr. Holmes worked as a consultant for a “Big 4” public accounting firm where his practice consisted of complex state and local tax controversy matters. There, he gained significant advocacy experience.
Outside of the office, Mr. Holmes enjoys spending time with family and friends, playing golf, Brazilian jiu-jitsu, and watching Horned Frogs football.
