Jong Kim concentrates her practice in the areas of real estate, finance and general business transactions. Her practice includes the representation of national financial institutions, commercial loan originators, loan servicers, and real estate finance and real estate investment companies. She has significant experience as lead counsel in all areas of commercial mortgage and asset-based lending, senior, mezzanine and subordinate debt, floating and fixed rate financing, multi-state and multi-property transactions, performing and nonperforming loans, problem loan workouts, modifications, extensions, restructurings and related matters, loan purchases, loan portfolios, and dealing with all types of commercial properties, including office, retail, mixed-use, hotel, multi-family, condominium and industrial properties. She represents mortgage lenders under various programs, including loans to be purchased by Fannie Mae, loans to be sold in the secondary markets with respect to multi-family and commercial properties, and loans made under conventional loan programs. She also represents commercial landlords and tenants with respect to leasing matters (for office, retail and industrial properties) and handles landlord/tenant disputes.
